Kicking off May ! feat. Guy J + Andre Lodemann + Carl Craig

Ever since I got back home to take a retreat from the monotony of IT doggie'ness, I've gotten ridiculously lazy. Got so caught up in the rat race, I forgot how home sweetness and comfort felt like. Good stuff !!
Anywho, some tracks that I've been hooked on to:

1. Prommer & Barck feat. Lois Longerling - Lovin'(Andre Lodemann Remix)[Best Works]
I started following the German ever since I heard his Beatport chart from October last year, followed by his productions, remixes and I figured the sound this man chases. Such a classic tune this, Andre's done an even better job with the remix, he's turned up the tempo and added his trademark bass line, warm, funky and something you want to groove too ! More club oriented this, compared to the original mix. Part of the Lovin' EP, which features the original and dub versions.
Release Date : 02-21-2011 | Set Fit : Warmup, Getting There | Time of the Day: Anytime

2. Hisham Zahran & Adham Zahran - Triplets(Christoph Kardek feat. Abdi Riber)[Acryl Music]
Getting down to some deep house, lush, spacy sounds and guitars on this, supplemented with Abdi Riber's beautiful voice, Christoph's has definitely delivered the goods. Perfect to kick back and relax to, or for cruising in you car. Part of Triplets(Remixes) EP, which features remixes by Big Al and Alvaro Hylander.
Release Date : 03-04-2011 | Set Fit : Warmup, Getting There | Time of the Day: Morning, Early Afternoon, Late Afternoon, Late Night
Adham & Hisham Zahran-Triplets (Christoph Kardek Remix) by Acryl Music

3. Guy J feat. Miriam Vaga - No Under But You[Bedrock]
All I can say is, those of you who have no idea what quality electronic music is about, Guy's latest album '1000 Words' is the perfect example to start with. This is goooood shit ! Talent just oozing off of every track in the compilation, CD 1 has the down tempo / slow-mo stuff mixed and the club oriented tunes are on the second CD, while CD 3 offers unmixed versions of them. This is one of the tunes that's been on repeat on my iPod, deep brooding bassline that drops like a hammer everytime the vocals, that have been pitched down to fit the dark backdrop, finish on the breakdown. A slow mo electronica version of this is on CD 1, which goes by the name You.
Release Date : 04-25-2011 | Set Fit : Getting There, Peaktime | Time of the Day: Late Evening, Night, Late Night

4. Guy J - I Lost My Head(PM Mix)[Bedrock]
Another stellar tune that Guy dropped when he played in Hyderabad, which I wrongly ID'ed as a version of James Holden's Nothing. Delayed synths with a deep rolling sub-bass, truly Guy's style, great stuff ! The down tempo AM Mix is dope too !
Release Date : 04-25-2011 | Set Fit : Warmup, Getting There, Finish | Time of the Day: Late Afternoon, Early Evening, Late Evening, Night, Late Night,
Guy J - I Lost My Head (PM Remix) by aboujis

5. Appleblim & Ramadanman - Void 23(Carl Craig Re-Edit)[Aus Music]
Ups to Sowmya Balakrishnan for closing her set on this track before handing it over to Guy at the Hyderabad gig, this is just perfect for minimal tech. freaks. Dark alien like textures with trippy noises and continuously varying drum patterns on this. Part of the Void 23 EP, which features the original mix as well.
Release Date : 11-22-2010 | Set Fit : Warmup, Getting There | Time of the Day: Early Evening, Late Evening, Night, Late Night
