NAMM special !

I just updated the player with some really nice tunes from yesteryears, that I've been digging, do check out Moonlight Party and Robbie Rivera's take on Chains. Also for all bored office-goers, check out Deepmix.eu(try deepmix.ru, it's not blocked by the firewall most probably :P), deeeeep tech vibes all over the place. Here's a direct link to the flash player. Great Stuff !
Anyway, the NAMM show just got over, which featured some pretty cool toys for artists, producers, DJ's and enthusiasts. I checked out the videos and came across some interesting bits.
First up is Richie Hawtin doing an interview for DJ Tech Tools with Ean Golden on the digitization of DJ'ing.

Next up, a drum machine dished out by Dave Smiths Instruments(DSI) & Roger Linn, followed by M-Audio's latest venture into the synth world with Venom. Later on, BT's collaboration with IZotope, Stutter Edit is introduced.

Also unveiled was Korg's famous X-Y Touchpad controller Kaoss Pad's latest release, a Quad Pad Dynamic controller, controlling up to four parameters at a time and having the ability to freeze the tool in a particular state to save the sound created, setting it as a template to create even more sounds by varying the other parameters. Check it here.
